Bolzano and surroundings

Skiing in Bolzano and surroundings is possible! Skiing in South Tyrol it´s possible to do so in the Dolomiti Superski ski zone at the Catinaccio (German: Rosengarten, Ladin Ciadenac) in its ski resorts such as Ega, Tires and Nova Levante (German: Welschnofen). Another Bolzano and surroundings ski resort is Val Sarentino (German: Sarntal), one of the quietest valleys in South Tyrol, which is part of the "Ortler Skiarena" ski zone.

In Bolzano and surroundings it´s possible to ski also on the Renon (German: Ritten) Plateau, which has been the "mountain resort of Bolzano" since the XV century; children and beginners can count on easy ski fields for them and the ice-skating fans should also know that many national teams train here! It´s possible to ski on the Alpe di Siusi (German: Seiser Alm, Ladin Mont Seuc), one of the most gorgeous ski resorts in Italy, roughly 1 hour by car far from Bolzano (German: Bozen, Ladin Bulsan).
